Code Red: A Fundraiser Event Supporting the Fight Against HIV & AIDS

Since June 2015, ONYX Mid-Atlantic has hosted Code Red to unite the LGBTQ+ community and friends in the Fight against HIV & AIDS. Code Red gives back to local non-profit organizations that offer education, resources, protection, and housing for those seeking assistance. Our mission is to connect the community by creating an unapologetically and unconditionally supportive safe space in the fight against HIV & AIDS. In order to meet our mission and provide services in the community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals like you, we would not be able to serve each year. The 4th annual Code Red Fundraiser will take place on March 25, 2018 at Stanton and Greene (319 Pennsylvania Ave SE, Washington, DC 20003).

There will be some exciting giveaways, a Best in RED contest, Dancing, Drag Performances, Kinky Scenes, a Silent Auction, and much more to keep you going throughout the night. All profits raised at this event go towards helping our chosen Non-profit organization, HIPS. Helping Individual Prostitutes Survive (HIPS) provides assistance to female, male, and transgender individuals who engage in sex work in Washington, DC. Using a harm reduction model, HIPS’ programs strive to address the impact that HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, discrimination, poverty, violence and drug use have on the lives of individuals engaging in sex work.
